This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Valley Stream is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Valley Stream is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is so good. The atmosphere when we went in was quiet with soft music playing in the background. It was very clean and the decor was beautiful. We ordered the pad thai and drunken noodles and they were both so flavorful. The shrimp was a little overcooked but I didn't mind, it was still delicious. I also asked for the pad thai to be extra spicy but it wasn't spicy enough for me. Regardless, still amazing food. The real star of the show was the mango sticky rice. It was the best mangoes I've ever had. The cold mangoes were sweet and tart on its own but mixed with the warm rice and condensed milk- that was so heavenly. Genuinely the best mango sticky rice I've ever had.

I've been coming here for many years. The food is always excellent and so are the drinks. The staff is very attentive to your needs. The location is in a popular area.

Lacked flavor and not authentic. Should have known by the place being so empty. What a waste of a 100 bucks for take out and was entertaining guests. Good places closed down in the area. Not again.

The food was so good. I liked the curry puff the most and I enjoyed the intimate environment for a nice lunch

Randomly went here on a Wednesday evening with friends. It is a small restaurant but clean and welcoming. Dainty atmosphere but inviting. I had the whole fried sea bass with special house sauce which was not flavorful at all. The fish was fried perfectly but the sauce was not flavorful at all. The tamarind duck was mediocre and lacked flavor as well. The prices are affordable and the Thai iced tea was good. Iβll probably recommend for a take out option but I wouldnβt be returning because I was not wowed enough to return. Note: I am a Thai food junkie so this review may be bias based on the rich Thai flavors I know and love Thai dishes to have.
